Now onto the fun stuff...
1) I am new to working out, is The Daily BJ right for me?
Absolutely. We get it, you go online looking for a program and are inundated with TONS of information and images of workouts. It can be paralyzing. We designed TDBJ with simplicity in mind. The workouts have a lot of thought behind them, but it's BJ doing the thinking, so you can just watch the video and use our easy-to-understand PDFs as a quick reference.
BJ shows variations for exercises, so you don't have to be the hulk to get going. He also allows for you to adjust the length of the workouts, which you can build upon as you get fitter. And as you get fitter, you will be able to increase to harder movements and greater intensity.
2) I love to workout! What about me?
If you already workout, you're probably still busy, like EVERYONE is. You'll be able to access killer monthly programming from BJ, so you can just bust your ass and not waste time trying to piece together workouts effectively. There's no more guesswork about whether or not you are doing too much of one thing and not another. It's like having one of the best trainers in your pocket, telling you what to do, for just $19 per month!
And if you are a fitness machine, while 3 high-intensity workouts per week is enough, we give you the option to workout 4-6 times per week if you need your fix.
3) What about equipment?
TDBJ workouts are home workouts you can take to the gym. We provide at least 3 workouts that ONLY use bodyweight, dumbbells, or bands. Then we provide another 3 that use other home-gym friendly tools such as medballs, kettlebells, etc. This means you will at LEAST have three workouts to cycle between each month if you have the most basic equipment, and more if you decide to invest a little more in your home gym setup. If you go to a gym, you should have no issues accessing all the equipment.
4) Does TDBJ provide nutrition?
The Daily BJ is a workout site, not a nutrition site. BJ's expertise is in planning killer workout programs. While BJ has done nutrition in the past, we learned the hard way there is no one-size fits all nutrition plan. Some people respond well to certain foods while others feel bloated and lethargic. People have different budgets, ethics, etc.
It often zaps the fun out of enjoying movement and "dieting" is often a short term battle that makes people feel defeated and like a loser if they eat something "bad."
Nutrition is important, but that is a journey you will have to embark on personally, hopefully looking to someone who is an expert in that field. You often hear that losing weight is 80% diet. That might be true when it comes to looking shredded for pictures or losing scale weight, but we believe a zest for movement will lead you to make better eating choices. You will appreciate your body for the machine it is, and learn to fuel it accordingly. No more obsessing over the scale. Stay hydrated, eat whole foods, veggies, good fat, and protein. Watch your portions and calories. Eat until you are sated, not stuffed, move with vigor regularly and you will be in a good place! Best of all, you won't bounce up and down on the scale and instead build a lasting physique.If you want to take your nutrition to the next level, you might need some expert guidance on that. There are so many nutrition experts out there. Check out BJ's podcast, The Weekly BJ, as he has interviewed some.
5) Can I cancel or am I locked in for all of eternity?
You can cancel your membership by going to your membership panel. You will stop incurring billing at the end of your current cycle.
6) Are there warmups and cool downs?
BJ is a genius at this: he works warmups into the workouts, so you can get right into it mentally and physically.

8) What if I start TDBJ in the middle of the month?
Just follow the schedule provided in the Getting Started section until the next month starts. At that point, start the current program so you will be on the current program schedule and then you won't have to worry about being behind after that!
