Low-Carb Hot Cereal
I've shown Proats before- oatmeal mixed with protein powder. It's an awesome higher carb or post-workout meal that I still use on the regular.
But lately I've been using the KNOW Foods hot cereal as an everyday lower-carb "oatmeal" option. It's a higher fat alternative to oatmeal made with almonds, coconuts, flaxseed, and chia seed. And it's loaded with 9 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein per half cup.
As shown in the video, I like to add a little protein powder, cinnamon, and berries into the mix to make it a complete and delicious #ProteinAndProduce meal. And yes, peanut butter once again finds a way to sneak into this dish. Haha.
This really is a great "breakfast" type of meal to throw into the mix, especially if you're sick of eating eggs all of the time. Give it a shot. I think you'll dig it, baby!
